‘The “Burimen Brothers” is an on-going Fantasy story that I will be writing on my blog. It was going to be my first novel but I thought I would express it to my followers.

IBurimen Brothers is story I begun on my blog last year. I have published seven installments (below) and I will continue it.

Tuesday discussion

It is that time of the week. Thoughts, ideas and questions are exchanged from blogger to author; writer to reader. A weekend of consistent editing and late night reading sparked a topic that is heavily debatable in the literary world – prologues.

This will be the third week of this weekly ritual. I hope some people are starting to enjoy the process as much as I am. However, I would like more engagement by other bloggers/ authors or writers. My answer to this is time-frames and deadlines. For those who sign-up to my email listing below, I will send the reminders.

Short Story Sunday – S.S.S.

It’s that time of the week again – S.S.S.

If you missed last week,  here it is.

I want to get people involved, if we can get enough traffic, hopefully some cash prizes can be organised – to make it more interesting.

In the meantime, I will continually post the rules and my stories each week.

Sunday Short Story – a short story on Sundays. In the form of poetry or a short story with a fully developed theme. You can: choose to join and share yours; or read mine – either way you’ll be participating in the weekly event.

Just write.

Word Limit:  up to 500 words/ 5 stanzas

Genre:  Author’s choice (including poetry)

The idea behind it is to think outside your major project or genre. Being completely absorbed by the one project/ theme seems daunting and frustrating. I feel it could be like music; you can love classical but listen to a bit of rock to make you appreciate the finer melodies.

Apologies to #fantasyfriday

I regret to inform you, the readers, I could not post the IV installment to Burimen Brothers.

In town this week is the IronMan Triathlon and my workplace is one of the major sponsors. I worked 12hr shift today and it was a feat to summon enough creativity strength after an exhausting day. I will DEFINITELY have it posted by Sunday afternoon. Please be patient with me, and please do not un follow me.

In the meantime, I have a short story about memory called, ‘Trust or Not To Trust’. I wrote last year, in the second P.O.V for a competition. I made it to the semi-final with it.
