Of Metal and Magic: Compendium One and Book Reviews

It has been a while since my last post and there are many reasons why I have been absent from my blog posting. They are the same reasons as my last post.

I have been writing my novel, To Wield The Stars. I have been devoting all my spare time to this novel and neglecting my blog. I’m sorry.

However, I am so excited to be apart of my first compendium for Fiction Vortex.

This collection features exclusive short fiction from the Of Metal and Magic team (including me), revolving the history of Soria and the tales of Metal and Magic.

This is my first published work as an author and I’m so thrilled to have the opportunity to release an epic fantasy story.

A huge thank you to JM Williams and Anna Civolani for organizing this whole project. Both of you have done an amazing job!!

In this compendium, it will have a pilot episode of my novel, To Wield The Stars, alongside a poem, Journey Across The Shore.

You can purchase it in either paperback or kindle format. Click here for the ebook and here for the paperback version on Amazon.

I hope you enjoy the book. Many people have put long hours into making this thing the best it possibly could be.

If you do purchase, please leave a review and rating.

I Googled the topic, Why are book review so important to authors? Especially in the world of Amazon. Here’s what I found:

  • It takes about 60/70 REVIEWS for Amazon to include a book in their recommendation emails. This is huge! I’m sure you’ve seen those emails from Amazon recommending books to you based on books you’ve already read. Well, books with low reviews do not get that same love. They get overlooked and the author suffers as a result.
  • It takes about 25 REVIEWS for Amazon to notice your book and include your book in their ‘other customers have bought’ lists. I’m sure you’ve seen this on Amazon’s website as well. This type of visibility can be a great benefit to the author.

So, readers and writers, please do us a favor, purchase Of Metal and Magic: Compendium One and write a review to help us authors continue doing what we love – writing.
