This weekly discussion is based around: character archetypes.
Does one of your characters in your WIP (work in progress) fall into one of the archetypes below? Which one and why?
One of my protagonists in my WIP is the outlaw.Autumns heart filled with revenge, everything stripped from her since birth. Braking the laws to get what she wants – regardless of the consequences, even if she spills the blood of royalty.
Who is your character?

I have a recurring pair of characters in a science fiction series of shorts. One character is basically a early 20th century noir detective transplanted into this future setting. He’s a bit of an outlaw, as he bucks authority, but he is also an explorer/sage as he seeks out history and knowledge. The other character is a regular gal/lover, who just wants to associate with the lead. But she’s an alien, so there’s that. In my heroic fantasy series, my lead might be more of a caregiver than a hero, based on the idea of seeking stability and concern for others over one’s own glory. I don’t know if I have any characters that fit one of these archetypes perfectly, they all seem to be a blend of two or more.

Most characters are a blend, it’s just interesting to see how these types can relate to our own works and affirm our characters traits 😃
